Stasera nachos real! Tonight nachos real!

To marry kids' desire for potato chips and the importance of providing them with meat's proteins (always keeping in mind McCartney's campaign Free Meat Mondays (http://meatfreemondays.com/) a solution could be that of pairing nachos chips with ragù (or ragout) and topping it with cheese, the one you like the most. Be careful though not to use a too much seasoned one. The best is cheddar as from original mexican recipe, isn't it Sergio? It's a pity you can't easily find it in Italy...
For most daring parents and reckless kids try adding cumin to ragout so it becomes spice and hot, getting the real chilli's taste. I don't usually add red bean the the meat but only a red pepper.
Also, you can serve it with sour cream (or a simply greek yogurt) or wrap into tortillas. It's up to your fantasy :)
Sorry for the awful image but the kids literaly jumped onto the dish as soon as it was out of the oven :)
